To book a tour of the Moot Hall please complete our booking form. Please note on the days we have wedding ceremonies, it will not be possible to book a tour.
Below you can find out more about booking the Moot Hall for your civil ceremony, group or for an event.
Please Note : During the winter months we only heat the Hall to a minimum level to protect the fabric of the building. Access to the roof and exercise yard are limited and weather dependant. We are closed for general public tours between 31st October and 28th February every year, however if you want a private group visit please email Manager@themoothall.co.uk to make enquiries.
Weddings and Civil Ceremonies
To reserve or discuss booking the Moot Hall for your special day please complete our contact form with your details and dates required. We will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note we are now full for 2024 and have limited availability for 2025. We have not yet opened the 2026 diary.
Private Tours
Enjoy having the Moot Hall to yourselves by booking a private tour. If there is a certain aspect of the history or building that interests you, your guide will be able to tailor your private tour to your preferences.
Prices dependent on group size, starting from £45.
Both Group Tours and Private Tours are subject to any Government guidelines regarding Covid-19 in place at the time of your visit. Full payment is required on confirmation of booking.

An ideal outing for a society or business with up to 25 in a group.
